Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does the manual say to never turn off the touchscreen?

A: No one can call or message you if your GrandCare touchscreen is turned off. The touchscreen also performs backups, software updates and receives new content during the nighttime hours. Instead of turning GrandCare off with the power button, it is programmed to shut off the screen automatically at 8 p.m. and turn it back on again at 8 a.m.. In the meantime, enjoy the slideshow, time and weather.

Q: What if I want to use GrandCare after 8 p.m.?

A: No problem! Just touch the screen to wake it up. Use it as long as you like. The screen will darken after it is idle for a little while.

Q: Can I change the hours of automatic screen darkening?

A: Absolutely. Call GrandCare at 855-840-3660 (TTY: 711) and let us know what hours you would prefer.

Q: I want to add some contacts to my GrandCare, why do you need their mobile phone numbers?

A: The mobile numbers of your contacts are not required. We can still add them with only a name and an email address. We request the mobile number so we can text them if they miss a call from your touchscreen. We never use it for any other purpose and we do not share it with any other entity.

Q: Are you going to add new content?

A: Yes. There will be new jokes, trivia, radio programs and more coming soon. We will regularly add content throughout the year, so stop back often to see what’s new.

Q: How will I know if you add something new?

A: We will send a message to your touchscreen whenever we add something new for you to enjoy.

Q: Can other people get a GrandCare touchscreen, even if they are not a Network Heath member?

A: Yes, other people can get a GrandCare touchscreen. Call (262) 338-6147 (TTY: 711) or send an email to
