Activate Your Account

One of the first things you’ll need to do in your GrandCare journey is to activate your account in the GC Manage website. For most people in the United States that website is my.grandcare.com.  Some customers will have other web addresses to log in. Users in other countries will of course have servers specific to those locations.

  • First, someone must create a User account for you in the website.
  • Next, you check your email and click the Activate Account link in the activation email.
  • Choose a password for yourself.
  • Log in using your email address and the password you just created.
  • Click through the HIPAA and EULA agreements.

Setup Wizard: Internet

 

The setup wizard guides you through several processes, but the first one is getting connected to the internet. Here’s how it works.

 

New!!! Touchscreen Skins

GrandCare has a new feature as of April 2026: touchscreen “skins.” This means that you can choose between two different options regarding how your touchscreen will look. We have slightly rearranged some things in the left hand navigation. Here’s what to notice:

  • The clock and date in the upper left corner now takes you to the Today screen instead of showing you an analog clock.
  • The Notifications button has been made smaller and is now found in the bottom row with Settings, Volume and Help.
  • The on-screen button has also been made smaller, but it has also been given an orange color to help identify it
  • The Home button has been given a green color to help people identify it quickly.
  • Every touchable area on the screen has been given a white border around it to make the experience more accessible for people with lower vision.

Here’s how you choose a skin.

  • Go to the Settings icon on the touchscreen (silver gear, lower left).
  • Choose Setup Wizard and enter the system PIN. Note: if you are doing this remotely through emulation, you will need to close the emulation window and reopen it again.
  • Proceed through the Wizard until you arrive at the Touchscreen Skin screen.
  • You can preview the two skins here.
  • Choose one and proceed through the end of the Wizard.
